I have been camping and hunting most my life. I recently bought the trek 246c tent and it is hands down the best tent I have ever owned. Set up is easy with two people, the tent housed my wife, two kids, our dog and all our gear with room to spare. It stayed cool during hot July nights due to all windows. The best thing was it kept us dry. It poured on two separate outing. One storm we had 3 plus inches of rain. We were at a state park and everyone has wet tents except us. Our Trek tent was bone dry inside and was aired out within hours.Water literally ran under the tent and the sides were pounded by rain and we stayed dry. I can't wait to fall and winter camp with this tent.

I just wanted to let you know how happy we are with this product. Great tent, we stay dry & warm with just a small heater even in the worst conditions (40 degrees and raining sideways, not a drop of water in the tent un believable). I tell everyone about our tent. Great design, great product. Keep up the good work.

This is our second Trek canvas tent, our first was given to our son and his family. I have used this tent for 2 years and our previous tent for 3 years before that. It is still holding up well. I really like the inside height that allows me at 5'11" to stand upright and move around with ease. Does require two able bodied people to set up, but thats not a problem for us. Thanks Trek and PracticalSports for providing this tent to our family.

During our first outing with this tent, it leaded terribly. We soon found that a seam was to blame. We weathered through the weekend by covering this area with a tarp from a fellow camper. Upon returning home, we contacted PracticalSports and they replaced the tent at no charge to us. The new tent looks ok but we have not encountered a rain storm yet. Hope all is ok. Winston K. Oregon. (Update: We encountered our first rain storm and the tent did not leak a drop, thanks for the help in getting us a replacement. Winston).

I bought this tent for summer camping and although i thought the canvas would be hot, the extra large windows and door keep the air flowing freely. It is a heavy tent, but not so heavy as to be a burden on my me and my husband. It holds a table, chairs, cot, gear, and dog quite comfortably and is ridiculously spacious for my needs. Jan K. I bought this tent a few months back and did not notice the weight until i received it. The tent is heavy but seems easy enough to setup. It took maybe 15 minutes, next time it should be less than 10 minutes. We can fit the whole family comfortably in here and a little extra. It didn't rain this weekend so I have no idea about the waterproof-ness, but when I find out I'll update this review. I really love everything about this tent except for the weight, i can only give it four stars for this reason, i guess i should have realized it would be much heavier than the nylon tents i used previously.
